Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) program is, essentially, two degrees in one. Students in the BSIS program are equipped with a solid, foundational knowledge of both the business and technology worlds. Ranked #1, the Marriott School of Management provides Information Systems students with an unmatchable business education. The Information Systems Department's faculty and staff ensure a rigorous and rewarding technology education for students. A student possessing a sturdy understanding of both business and technology is equipped with an invaluable, essential skill set--enabling him/her to successfully meet current business demands.

In short, you will take the Pre-Information Systems Core courses before you apply to the program. After completing the Pre-Isys Core courses, you will apply to the program before the last working day of June. After acceptance to the program, you will start the Junior Core during the fall semester of the year you apply to the program. The Management Core and other required courses can be taken either before or after the Junior Core.
